Many of us suffer from lower back pain and want to do something about it instead of reaching for the painkillers. The Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs course has been proven to be an effective way of dealing with lower back pain. The course is based upon an extensive research programme which was carried out at the University of York and funded by Arthritis Research UK. The research showed that by following the 12-week yoga course, many people have managed to reduce the number of painful episodes they experience and it can reduce absenteeism from work due to back problems by 70%.
